With China's rapid socioeconomic growth—especially accelerating urbanization and expanding transportation infrastructure—the construction industry has gained strong momentum. Market demand and the wider use of ready-mixed concrete have brought unprecedented opportunities to China's concrete admixture industry.

  1. 2006

    The predecessor of Hubei Shanshufeng, Hubei Hongning Building Materials Co., Ltd., was founded in 2006 and had taken shape by 2008.

  2. 2009

    Hubei Shanshufeng Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was newly established in 2009.

  3. 2010

    Relocation and commissioning of the new production base were completed; taxes and profits exceeded RMB 1 million in the same year.

  4. 2011

    The company held its opening ceremony and exclusively sponsored the 2nd China Cement Light Boat Race, building a strong image in concrete admixtures and building materials.

  5. 2012

    Naphthalene-based high-range water reducers were sold to Ethiopia. Branches were set up in Guangzhou, Hainan, Yichang, Xi'an, Kunming and Sichuan within the same year.

  6. 2013

    R&D and procurement centers were formally established in Wuhan, marking an important step in technology innovation and supply-chain management.

  7. 2014

    The Fujian branch was established—a key milestone. In the same year we launched a self-developed high-range water reducer with superplasticizing performance, strengthening our technical edge and competitiveness.

  8. 2015—2016

    We focused on building a full technical marketing integration plan to enhance market competitiveness and brand awareness.

  9. 2017

    We first obtained National High-Tech Enterprise certification, and passed renewals in 2020 and 2023. Despite challenges in 2019, we were named a county-level AAA integrity enterprise.

  10. 2020

    We developed alkali-free accelerators and cement grinding aids, recognized by Gezhouba Cement with cooperation agreements for 8 sites. We also received Xianning Concrete Admixture Engineering Technology Research Center and Xianning Pillar Industry Hidden Champion honors.

  11. 2021

    Deeper strategic cooperation with China Railway Bridge Research on water reducers, with notable progress on the Yansi and Hannan Yangtze River Bridge projects.

  12. 2022

    Further recognition for water-reducer business and innovation: named a provincial "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative" SME.

  13. 2023

    Rated as an A-level credit taxpayer. Anhui Branch (East China) and Gansu Branch (Northwest) were established to further expand our footprint.

  14. 2024

    Strategic cooperation with China Railway on R&D and production of bridge structural adhesives and UHPC dry mixes, exploring innovative materials to improve bridge quality and safety while creating new growth.

  15. 2025

    We officially launched a fully automated UHPC premix and precast component project with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons, located in a national industrial park. With advanced intelligent equipment and digital control from raw material screening and premixing to forming and curing, the project will serve bridge strengthening, prefabricated buildings, marine engineering and more. In the same year we obtained 3 invention patents, three-star green building material certification and work safety standardization certification—solid foundations for high-end markets and brand growth.
